Oh yes, I just love change. I especially love the types of changes we deal with every six months or so. I mean, it's a joy that public land no longer exists, except for people who sign on at 2amPST when the map changes so that they can find it out and add it to their "Land Sales" spreadsheet. Oh, and I also love that the only way social players can make money is through buying it from L$-rich players. Let's see, what other changes in the past have been made that I just adore. Oh, right, I love that we had nearly three days of downtime and login-hell just a few weeks ago, and yet somehow a "formidable solution" to [problem x] in Second Life is to drive out a plethora of players who utilize the event system or don't want to fork out 100.00US for a spot on the Top Picks list. Lordfly, you and I have been here for about the same amount of time. Think back to your roots, man. This is not what Second Life ever wanted to be. And please, don't belittle people because they find it hard to 'adapt' to these changes. For you, or I, or a number of older players who have -been through- a lot of changes in Second Life, we know how to chin up and wade through the water (or, we already have an established business anyway, so what's there to lose?) But think about all the players that view these changes, rightfully, as something that inhibits and violates their gaming experience. Don't tell me you don't see that? I know you remember the outrage of Taxes back in 1.1. C'mon, think back, don't be insulting to the crowds of people -we once were- "back in the day."
