lusk/brown/boardman restoration

whose restoring these sims to their former residential glory?

As far as Lusk goes, it's Chage McCoy, myself, Chromal Brodsky, Eltee Statosky, Ice Brodie, and the rest of the Luskwood crew. (Liam Roark and Arito Cotton.)

As for the other two sims, I don't know. I think Chage may have been involved.

I guess I like to think I am the "co-ordinator" of sorts in restoring lusk estates, but really, it hasnt been possible to consider without the assistance of the luskwood crew.

should the lusk estates restoration "work" (more on that when the time comes) I will put my efforts into Kissling (If Cal rogers lets me), brown and boardman.

Seriously though, it isn't the whole IRC group, it's merely people who have land in Lusk Estates, and Luskwood, thus, a vested interest in seeing Lusk look nicer.

Besides, that's not all the people who hang out in the IRC channel, that's... maybe less than a 4th of the IRC channel.

and as billy is one of these people who hangs out in the irc channel, he should know this

back to the topic.. im sorry.. anyway what is being done to restore this area? and what is needed? i would love to have a home in one of the city sims but it scares me away everytime i go look at them because of the size of the plots and the cost but i think a small house would be good as a get away! what do i have to do to get this?

Well, I have some land in borderman I am trying to sell. So if you need some help developing it further, let me know.

i picked up 480sm of public land in boardman that i was going to donate to the restoration project.

Since I've been making so much from land developing, I've added a street car and a postal truck to boardman. If you can IM me some things to say in the street car I'll add it to the script.

This thread is about Boardman restoration. I assumed that adding a street car to boardman would help make it better.

In fact, it was this thread that inspired me to do what I did. Considering that I just spent 3 hours, I thought one tiny little sentence wouldn't be a hijack.

Blaze, you in previous posts have come off to be a land baron. I know you dont like being called that, but the problem is thats essentially what the resale of land for profit with an immediate turnover is.

so far in your two posts you have indicated that
a) you want to sell land in boardman
b) you have made a lot of money from land "developing"
c) you have made a postal truck

c) is good, great, I applaud you for it. a) and b) in this thread however, is not a good idea.

as for knowing darned well what I am talking about, I am guessing the 3 months I have been working in the estates must have been while I was smoking crack then, because apparently I dont know what I am talking about.

Khamon, I am sorry you feel that way, and as indicated I can share equal frustration. This thread has been a total fiasco. If you are perhaps interested in starting off the Boardman restoration, feel free to use the Lusk estates restoration group as a sounding board

If I were a land baron (which I'm not) what does that have do with adding a free Street Car (not just a postal truck, did you even bother reading what I said before spouting off?) that anyone can copy and sell to Boardman?

But that just makes it worse, because you didn't use any of that knowledge to help you clue into the fact that I just spent 3 hours helping 'restore' boardman and that's what my post was about.
