Wow....Makes you wonder....

I found this to be very interesting and just makes you wonder. I am no conspiracy theorist or anything. Just thought I'd share this. I found it to be disturbing and think how f****d up if it were true. Along with watching Fahrenheit 9/11 (big Michael Moore fan).

I think this belongs in off topic. But yes he creates a very compelling view. I really like the part in columbine, the cartoon part, about why American's need guns.

This is a notorious hoax, as the miles long thread on this at Stratics could illustrate to you. It claims there was no plane crash into the Pentagon -- but all those relatives of the people on that flight haven't heard from all their relations, and they are likely dead, hmmm? In fact, they *are* dead -- and there are many other funny things about this so-called "documentary" that are easily refuted with just some plain common sense. Come on, not every anti-American piece of dreck on the Internet is true. And this is off-topic anyway.

Nowhere in my post did I say it was true. Also let the Lindens be judge as to where my threads belong. They will move it.

Yeah, that little piece of work was created by well known French left-wing activist Thierry Meyssan and has since then been proven to be a figment of his imagination.

What I find intriguing is that he released this video just prior to publication of his book "L'Effroyable Imposture" - a smart marketing move, I'll give him that much.

So, just like his American comrade, Michael Moore, they release sensasionalist "documentaries" exploiting the tragedy of 9-11 and make tons of dough in the process.

What I don't understand is why a pair of illustrious socialists such as Mr. Moore and Mr. Meyssan are so much into making money? I sure as heck don't see them sharing with the people.

I am sure by my thread you can tell I am your left wing, liberal/socialist (RATM my favorite band). But I have always been respectful to everyones views and beliefs. Hehe...One of my best friends is very conservative.

Well..nice try but no cigar. Even the whole right-wing republican machine couldn't disprove anything in Micheal Moore's Farenheit 9/11. It was poured over by lawyers and scholars and all information in it was well documented and confirmed....

I really don't try to be a mean or confrontational when I respond Paris, but one of this days, I will tell you the whole story behind me going from your typical UNAM revolutionary socialist in Mexico City to a moderate republican.

In a nutshell, it had to do with the hypocrisy of party leadership back in the early days - people that had all of us believing in the cause. Later, a trip to Cuba to visit relatives, together with stories from my many and dear Cuban friends. And to seal things up, trips to Poland, where I have had long chats with my wife's relatives, all of whom lived under socialism for decades.

But then again, my new year's resolution is to quit getting involved on any forum discussions with any hint of politics. I can name at least three people in-world that will not even say hi simply because of what I may have written, so it is not worth it. It is not like I am gonna change the world or anybody's mind.

But I hope you and Darko know that even though our view of the world may be a little different, it makes absolutely no difference on the way I feel for you guys. As you know, I am always very happy to see and talk to you whenever I can.

I'm posting this not out of any agreement or disagreement on the subject, but to offer to this discussion a list what appears to be a widely accepted (I've seen it quoted often) right wing view of the "it's a bunch of lies" position by a right wing spokesman who's views are generally respected within those circles.

I totally agree with you Tito on staying out of and also not creating threads such as this one. I understand little about the forums and should just sit back and watch instead of getting involved. I didn't do this thread to upset anyone or cause any kind of problems. I just found it interesting. Unfortunately maybe what this thread has done has made me look naive and uneducated, but I am not. Sometimes I tend to react with emotion instead of thinking it through. So I apologize if this thread has in anyway offended anyone, because I am not one to shove my beliefs down ppls throats. Also I would like to add that writing such a thread makes ppl lose respect for one and I hope that is not the case with me. I am just too naive and too nice of a person, hence my stupidity writing this thread to begin with.

Most people in the forums agree with your views. As I stated earlier, I may disagree, but you know what? I have had heated discussions regarding Fahrenheit 911 with my dad and my brother, and they are also convinced many of the facts presented are true and even led them to vote for Kerry. I totally disagreed with them too, but I certainly did not lose respect, love or appreciation for their ideas.

*SIGH* I wish that thing would hurry up and die. It was put together by people who don't know jack about airplanes. Yes a plane crashed. Yes they took out big pieces. If a plane didn't crash where did the other plane go. I could write 20 pages on this. Do me a favor. Buy a begginers book on aviation and learn how the aviation system works. The how stuff works web page provides alot of material. I suggest you look at how the air traffic control system works. Then look at flying, airlines and flight crews. Perhaps for fun take a intro flight with a flight instructor. Then you will see that the page is pure male bovine excrement. (bullshit) Thank you.
