First, I'll post a humorous note, and then a serious note.

So here's the humorous one: the position for my "arch-rival" has already been filled long ago, and way past qualification, by a certain fellow of the name of Taco Rubio. While we are friends out of costume, we jive with each other -- tango, even -- on a number of topics in the pale moonlight. He is quite the dastardly foil to my watermelon-colored plans. I have a number of rivals, most of them oldbies whose power I am trying to usurp so I can be "The One" and claim "The Prize" or any such vague thing. <--- this is a JOKE.

On a serious note: regarding instances such as this, I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but I do not feel comfortable with anyone listing me as an "arch-rival" in any real capacity in their profile... especially without asking me first. I need more friends, not enemies, and I don't want there to be a misconstrued misunderstanding of my positive intentions.

I know it's not your alt. I was teasing. But I was wondering about the rival thing. I figured it was in your nature to have a "joke" rival and that's what I sorta thought it was. But I agree with you. Putting you as their rival in their profile with out permission is out of the question. I don't know much of this guy. He came and talked (sorta, more just rambling on how he will rule SL) to me on my land. Then later I was in the WA and there was a heated debate between him and a few others. After I witnesed that, I was pretty sure that his rivalry against you wasn't a joke.

Heather, I'll be PMing you shortly concerning some aspects of what's happened. I don't make light of this because of what you mentioned, too. Thanks for sharing this.

I do wish the world could all be rainbows and sunshine, but as it isn't, I strive to improve with conflict resolution, and while I'm on the SL Forums, obviously there are some rules I must obey.

If it makes you feel better Torley, I'll be your rival. My giant kitty rider, Omega Tren, is the only thing that can stand the might of Torley-Zilla. That and maybe a bag of skittles.

i saw him as well.. he was just standing there in the welcome area. big guy! very well made costume.. obviously not a complete newbie, or slightly even..

unfortunately, there can not be positive without negative; however, this may be too much. on the other hand, it could be Taco trying out a new idea?
