Hiro, Im not dismissing it at all as it coincides with the bug I found a few weeks ago and reported and if what your saying is true the fix did more damage than it helped.

Okay, I think i've found bugs on how permissions are reported... which is definitely less dangerous than permissions being changed...

For example... I can link a no-transfer item with a full perm item... full perm being root. Then Immediately, the linked objects SHOWS copy/transferrable, but when I stop selecting it, and click on it again, it reports correctly... still investigating.

Hiro, go read the thread that Pete Fats started. There is a definition of how the new Perms work based on the fix as per a Phone Call I had with LL yesterday. Please check that out and it may explain some of your flustration.

OKay, also looks like it greys out things when you select both... starting to see this.
I'll just let this go for now, this is very confusing... darkened, undarkened, checked, unchecked... it still reports things temporarily inaccurately... like I said, I'll bug it later. _____________________
