I look silly and feel silly, but i guess its kind of cute

Actually I am not dressing up but my children are. They are going with old skool traditional costumes. My oldest daughter, age 6, is going to be a witch and my youngest daughter, age 5, a black cat.

HALOWEEN ROCKS!

Did anyone see the South Park Halloween Episode? Haha! Brilliant.

ROTHL - Yeah - the Nuns in the Catholic School made a great costume for me! I should wear it someday.

Today, I'm the grim reaper from the show "Dead Like Me". It's one of my favorites. Black Robe with hood, Stuffed Raven on Sholder, Black "Deaddy Cat" pinned to my belt, dead rat on my boot and a remote controlled giant spider that follows me when I walk down the hall.

I currently have the spider hiding in the corner of my office and when people walk down the hall I rev it up and run it at them. Scares the crap out of 'em. Muhahahahaha

Oh I forgot the frog - I brought in a real one in a critter carrier. LOLOLOL

My five year old son will be Darth Vader and my three year old daughter is going as a purple unicorn. I'm going as a grumpy mom, so I don't really need a costume.

I think the best, last-minute costume I ever made to wear to work was a "gypsy;" I wore a frilly white blouse and black skirt, tied a red fringed scarf around my waist (so it hung down on a half-angle) and a purple silk scarf around my head, and put on lots of makeup and jewelry. I took my tarot cards along with me and told peoples' fortunes all day. It was a hoot.

I remember a friend threw together a last minute halloween costume once. He wore big overalls and big ugly boots. He used white clothes dryer vent tubing on his arms and a big round attic ventilator that you see on rooftops. He could not see unless he spun the ventilator around, by doing that he could see through the spaces in the slats as it rotated. He was walking around all night spinning this thing on his head and he won the costume costest! He beat out a real professional dracula too. He won a case of wine which he opened up right there for all of us to partake. LOL, those were the days.

This year, I will just hide out at home and maybe be a human in SL.

In RL I'm dressing up as a bat.

In SL I'm dressing up as a limited-edition headless avatar complete with a flaming pumpkin and axe! It's completely animated with scary sounds. Get it at Ulrikas Werkstatt in Seefeld.

November 1st is a catholic holiday called the day of all saints, yes. But I'm not aware of any special celebration. Even if there was, I'm not a religious person

Although Wikipedia claims that people here supposedly offer flowers to their dead relatives on that day. *shrug*
They also claim we have a halloweenish "witches day" in april 30. First time I ever heard that!
