Hey! Where'd the "Modify" option go?

I tried to set up a slideshow screen for everyone to use tonight at the photo show and tell. It turns out that the "Modify" property is gone!

How do I let everyone modify an object like a screen?

Thanks, but that only partly answers the question. If it's no longer possible to allow anyone to modify an object, how do you do a slideshow on a screen? Do I have to ask everyone to rez their own screen? Ack.

This is just unexpected, and I have a photo show and tell event tonight at 9:30. I guess I'll hand out screens :)

You can use the scripting language to set an object to Allow Inventory Drop. Take a look at the scripting docs.

I'm trying this right now. I'm not a scripter and I can't get this to work. Can anyone send me an example of the llAllowInventoryDrop() syntax? Or maybe hand me a script? It would help out a lot!

I have thought about this, we have a screen on the Island and I have often thought of having a slide show event and asking each participant to put their entries in a note card then I could drop them on the screen instead of allowing public access.

I'm working on a good solution for this. You can test the current display in Coney 101,18. I'll make it free to copy when it's done. Please IM me with any bugs/suggestions.
