Cubey Terra

I was walking around the Cubey Terra airport, touching the planes, waiting for them to jump to life, but they don't because they know there creator is off fishing...

The Skies of Second Life are empty without you Cubey, and the oceans are cold and empty, they need the Orca swimming around to keep watch under the sea.

I've crashed my Cormorant into everything I can find, I splashed my Tiger into the water, I voyaged under the sea in my Herring, I flapped the wings off my Ornithopter, I toured the world in my Vancouver II, I dropped from the sky in my Lodestar, I faught the enemy in my Royal Flying Corps, I road the roads in my hoverbike, I rose gently into the sky in my Futura 5 heli-car...but I need more!!

I hope he is catching all the fish he needs, and will never leave us again.

On a purely technical level, I have much respect for what Cubey Terra has done -- not only with the construction of his vehicles, but his branding and promotion which is recognizable throughout the gridverse, in addition to the expansion of the Aerodrome over time and his collaborations with others in doing so. Beyond technicalities and into the realm of emotion, or even the fusion that I would describe as "Emotional Technology", it's been darn fun to ride my Tigershark -- and like you, Michael... PLUNGE IT INTO THE DEPTHS!!!

It is from these fathoms beneath the non-rippled waters of SL that I hope that, if Cubey is being fished instead of fishing, that he continue to swim towards the surface and see the rays of light: an inspiration to continue onwards like the brave aviator of sims that he is, pioneer of the virtual skies, despite all the damn trouble in the world.
