Keep calm kids, it's a game. :)
Now come buy my junk cuz I need to recover! heh

Got hit hard with taxes tonight.
Before version 1.1 always broke even or lost a few hundred. Sales of a few items would cover this. Lost almost 5000 with the new version and a projected loss of 7000 next tax day... Biggest change that I can see is bonus dropped by more than half. (takes deep breath) ![]() _____________________

This will be solved eventually. I kinda feel sorry for LL employees since they'll be busy for a while trying to fix the mess. |

Hi All,
Tax rates for land and object were not changed for 1.1. So we'll look into these problems first thing this morning. Hang in there. |

My only change from previous weeks was slightly lower land tax (I think I released some) and a MUCH lower bonus (about half what it used to be).

Yes, I seem to have gotten hit hard and in an irregular way.
I still want to buy those machines as we discussed Bos, just need to do some creative financing this week to get the money I need. ![]() |

Wooo Sahhh
Woooo Sahhh WOOO SAH!!! @&#^$ ITS NOT WORKING!! $3000... I lost $3000!!!!!!! This is unfair. I dont like complaining, if LL is going to fix this, give refunds to ALL the people who lost money, not just the ones that bug you about it. The bugs should have been worked out *before* it affected the world economy. : igh:: I hope this is solved soon.==A Very Mad Chris _____________________

Ugh, logged in to expect to at least break even and wound up -800+ in the hole. Kind of stinks after planning to work on the Elven Starlight I've been meaning to finish only to find out I can't rez on single prim. Even if I removed all objects I have in the world I'd still be in the hole.
Sure I have a large chunk of land in Gray, I bought that to keep the land in Kazenojin, only to find my pocketbook containing a large column of flame... And I don't like to place any type of begging for money tag on anything... but I had to make an execption. Oh well, back to Star Wars Galaxies where I'm in a similar situation but can make credits on missions... |

Historically, that has been what is done, usually erroring on the generous side. Money flubs have happened before, they get fixed fast and the swelling subsides. bbc _____________________

Add me to the list of those that were hit with taxes.
And I have never had a neg tax balance until now. I can't believe that anything i did in world caused this tax bill. Oh well... I am not a tax virgin anymore. fen- |

Yeah, I got hit hard too. I only glanced at the numbers, so I don't know exactly how much, but I lost about a couple thousand to taxes, even though I have less land than I had the previous week when I got a good bonus/stipend. Argh. Now I'm short of cash again.

Good Idea! Since almost all of us are in the same boat, we can certainly take a few days to catch up with our neighbors - and give them a bit of dwell! - and meet new residents if we can't afford to do much building. By next Tuesday this will all be fixed, no doubt.
