A blue moon is the second full moon of the same month. Some call it a loony moon.

Well it seems to happen more often then that.
I'm just wondering if it is some kind of riddle we have to solve, or something. Btw, just a second before i took the pic the moon was more greenish. |

Beats me.
I've seen two of them, both within the last month or so. Don't know if it's an artifact or an easter egg. Interesting that, in the pic, the moon's reflection was still white. _____________________

If you see a blue moon, keep watching it. It often changes to green for a few seconds before it changes back to the usual white. Red and yellow moons are additional colors to look for also. I have also seen a few eclipses where the moon is shrouded in black.
