Michael Jackson will be found not guilty.

He's a freak. He's definetly got some issues in his head. He will be found not guilty though. The prosecution is failing on every witness they sit down and most likely already blew this case.

Well, that and the fact that the witnesses have pretty much all admitted to lying in previous cases. If you ever lie in a case where money is involved, don't go suing someone with even more money. And then there was... was it George Lopez(?)... who said that the accuser's father tried to extort money from him on a regular basis, using his son's illness as the reason. Zero credibility.

My money is on this all being about the civil suit and the criminal suit is just a formal run-through-- and, hey, if he got sentenced then that would probably mean that they would get even more money in the civil case.

I'm not arguing whether MJ has or has not actually touched children inappropriately, but there's no credible evidence so far.

I hate to agree with this...but unfortunately I do. I believe he is way past guilty, and it has been apparent for many many years that he has issues beyond the plastic surgery thing. The credibility of the witnesses and accusers is slim to none. Even with the evidence against him; pornography with MJ's fingerprints and childrens prints, the whole 'jesus juice' (MJ putting wine in empty soda cans) thing, him walking around naked in front of children, and of course having them in his bed, among many other disturbing and inappropriate behavior over the years. If the parents hadn't been so fucking money hungry instead of being more concerned for their child and other children...then maybe the freak would be put away so he could look at 'the man in the mirror' while rotting in jail, unable to hurt another child. But alas...as we have seen in the past ( OJ, Robert Blake etc...) as long as you are rich and a celebrity, you will be fine...either the glove doesn't fit (even if you have the victims blood in your house and car) or the credibility of the witnesses is horrible.

Anybody remember that Simpsons episode with the Betty Ford Clinic musical? Homer and family were in Vegas catching a show, and it was about famous people in court. The lyrics I remember are:

I feel bad for MJ. I don't know if he touched them inappropriately (none of the examples you gave involve that), but he has the eternal psychology of a child and he might not realize that sharing things with friends or walking around naked in front of them is "inappropriate." Didn't you ever walk around your friends naked as a child or share dirty magazines with them?

It's easy to scoff at that idea but mores are not intrinisic, they're conditioned, and it's easy to take for granted the fact that you have such a clearly defined sense of right and wrong. He was not raised like a "normal" human being and it's impossible for him to even have a jury of his peers. Whatever justice (or lack thereof) is rendered will be blind justice indeed.

My own impression is that the poor kid was pushed into the path of a highly suspected child-lurver by his evil, money-grubbing parents. They knew that if they dangled a carrot (or better, their kid's carrot) in front of the freak, the freak would...um...bite; then they will get paid (again). The parents are evil child abusers, Jackson is an evil perv, and this kid will most likely have his whole molestation accusation (which IMHO did happen, but was precipitated by his parent's schemes) bulldozed because his family is a bunch schmucks with a bad history...
Don't be surprised in 4 years when you read a news story about the MJ accuser kid going off and shotgunning down his parents once his psyche finally collapses...

oh and if he is found guilty by circumstantial evidence I think the parents should be punished too..

You're probably right. It's OJ all over again. But I think though there is more than enough evidence there that would make a jury convict some ordinary guy. The stuff like admitting sleeping with teenage boys, the fingerprints on the porn and books with pictures of young boys in them would stick in a jury's mind.

That's the problem with child abuse cases it usually comes down to the child's word against the adult. Short of a video of him doing it (if he did it), he'll probably be found not guilty.

......Oh and they should be charging the parents for selling their child to Jackson as his personal plaything no matter if he abused him or not. That to me counts as a kind of child abuse.
