I love exploring in SL. Is there a place in the forums for people to describe their builds? I really would like to be able to have one place to go to read about neat builds and then go look them up. Am I missing an obvious forum location for that information?

Hi Helen, I too love exploring in SL. I'm thinking it may be a good idea to have a forum for people to show off their places -- there are already forums that focus on Things, and since we're People here, why not have a Places category too? Of course, sometimes all three are combined.

Currently it's scattered, you'll have people discuss builds in General, as well as the dedicated Building forum:

As for me, inworld... I have lots of landmarks dropped on me, as well as randomly wandering and just following the tides of rippleshock (my own type of quirky intuition), and following where I'm guided.

I recommend posting in Hotline To Linden if you'd like to ask for a dedicated "show off ya kewl buildz" forum.

Look up the SL Parks and Rec Service...
Listings of cool places in SL available on a website or in giant prim-mushroom form.
