 ok i had something like this before, then it was my cables, i have something odd again..

If i copy alot of zipped/rar/aced files around to my other drives , do a crc/sfv check on them they randomly corrupt itself , funny thing..

Yeah i already ran anti virus prog/adaware/you name it, first i though its cause i got new ram, changed that. same

Then i tried disabling just about everything to see if i have enough power or something like that still same.

HD temps never go above 40c , s.m.a.r.t found no faults either

 Think its my new vid card wich is killing me here, or the cables gone all wierd again,,, 350watt with a 6800gt , yeah im asking for trouble i know.

:( any thing i should try? , note this only happen to packed archives.

dropped to 1 gig ram now to see if its the ram -.- ( from 3 to 1 gah )

I had that sort of thing happen once, but that was only when copying archive files across a network (linux router freaking out)... I've never heard of it happening internally to one computer before.
