everyone in my office in Walnut Creek felt it.. we're only on the 3rd floor, but the building slowly swayed for a long time. at first, i thought it was my body paying me back for the weekend. ;)

the Lindens, i'm sure, are fine.. SF is too far from the epicenter (150+ miles).

We didn't even feel the earthquake here in the office.

Also, we managed to miss the major San Francisco blackout over the weekend.

Go us!

It was in Paso Robles, I have family there and we couldn't get thru (all circuits are busy) until finally a call came into us around 8pm. All was well with them, they live very close to the damaged area. Paso Robles was in process of reviving the "Old Town" section and I guess it is back to square one now!!

You get used to them. Remember that line in Independance Day? "What that an earthquake?" "Not even a 4 pointer, go back to sleep"

Trailer parks and tornados ... now that's scary!

:) Pendari! I would take an earthquake over a tornado or hurricane (or frigid winters) anyday. Most of the time, they are small and fun. Rarely do you get a big nasty one.
