SL residents!
If you missed the grand opening, or just were not aware... Elysian Island (formerly know as Cayman Island & Evie's Island), is now open to the public to visit, explore, shop, sail, and relax.
The only time that you would not be able to go there, is if the Island has been rented out for a private party or gathering. Island private rental pricing available at the travel office.
To get more information, see pics, view the island model, and/or a LM to the island (yes it is a teleport trip), please visit the Elysian Island Travel office in Minna 14.156 (aprox).
Visiting the island is free (except for your teleport cost*), and we invite you to come and see what we have created for your vacation from SL.
If you have been to the island, reply to this post and let us know what you think. We'd love to hear your first (or second) impressions of your visit there.

Evie was gracious enough to give a tour of the island before it opened and I was in awe the whole time. All who worked on its splendor while keeping it pristine are to be commended. Someday I hope to rent it out for myself.  Ps. The "Storm Room" was simply spectacular. I could spend all my ingame time there and never get tired of it.

For those of you that are fans of my clothing, I've started a line of swimwear. It's available exclusively on Elysian Island at the rental office. I won't be selling them in my Freelon or Aqua stores or at any of the other fine retailers who stock my clothes. More coming soon.

I got a tour of the island on Monday and was AMAZED by what I saw. It is by far the most detailed build I have ever seen in-game... And it's a WHOLE SIM of it. (Albeit a small one.)
And if you get a chance to see the behind-the-scenes control room...... WOW!!!
Masterful. Truly Masterful!

i never thought SL could create a really romantic mood but the stormy cabin proved me wrong. great job everyone who worked on the island! we need more of this kind of stuff.
