It is mid morning here on Christmas Eve, the rumble of lawn mowers can be heard in the distance as families attempt to tidy their homes for the enslaught of the relos!

The BBQ plate is cleaned ready for the prawns and the Barramundi. The only thing left to do is to go to the Service Station (gas station) on Christmas morning for the Ice so the beer can be chilled in the laundry tub!

Christmas Day in Australia is different from your northern Christmas, relatives will drive hundreds of kilometers just for lunch, then drive more kilometres for dinner at the outlaws.

By the end of tomorrow, I will have driven 300 klms.

Often big families will have lunch at the beach or in a park but a game of cricket is always on the adgenda no matter where you are, while the aged aunties wash up!

The kids will ride their new bikes around the street, while dad opens a can of beer for breakfast, as the day wears on and the heat is felt, even grandma will have a beer to cool down.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy your families and friends.

I have had trouble getting into 1.2 but Colin is on my case.

I wish you all my new friends and all my old friends, a safe and Happy Christmas.

xxx's and Huggs, Sky!

Sounds like fun Sky... the same sort of thing goes on here, but with warm drinks and bad weather. ;)

Woo, rain in LA today! How rare!

Anywho, I'm bracing for the Northerner Christmas by going to a friend's Christmas Party. Then on the 28th I'm going to a Hannukka party. And then a Kwanzaa party sometime later. Wee.
