Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to SL (just over a week now), but I've noticed an interesting thing happening. I've often dreamed in third person, but the characters in my dreams were always real. Lately, I've been having third person dreams and the characters in the dreams are avatars. Not any specific ones, but I find it really interesting that my brain has been influenced enough to dream in SL...

Actually, it's more like I wake up one day and my house is gone, because she still hasn't given me a copy

*chuckle* interesting topic- it reminds me of the only SL dream i can really remember. I built this awesome building, it turned out EXACTLY how i had envsioned it, ect ect.....I was just standing back to admire the final product when i woke up. sooooo frustrating.
Should have known, its never *that* easy

Once I had a dream and Taco Rubio's avatar was in it. His purple avatar. It was weird because I think everyone else in the dream was normal (real people) including me.

Theres a little fiction in your truth and some truth in your fiction.

Dreaming of SL isn't that weird, considering that anything we interact on a daily basis can become food for our thoughts in our conciousness. You are more likely to have SL dreams if it makes a impact on you in some way or if you deal with SL daily. In part the brain is reviewing all that its learned that day while you sleep, going over basic and new tasks, sort of like a computer "backing up" things. So its natural that it would review SL things as well.

I can only remember one dream I had involving SL like aspects, it was set in RL, but I was going to a party, but the party was full, so I couldn't enter, I had to wait outside and view the party area from afar (like when a sim is full), but then I asked a friend for a teleport inside the house, and he gave me one and when I teleported in, everyone was in SL avatar form, yet the house was a RL house and I had a mini-map in my corner and could see how many people were there (alot by SL sim standards).
