Ok, I admit I haven't seen everything in Second Life, there are still quite a few sims I haven't visited yet. However when I go to the ol events button all I seem to ever see are a hoarde of Tringo events. Tringo here, Tringo there, Tringo now, Tringo later.
I haven't seen much of anything else in the events list that is even remotely interesting. Sure Tringo is fun, but so are other events like contests, classes, general shmooze, races, and the like.
I'm not saying that Tringo events should be cut down, but I'd like to see a ramp up of other events besides Tringo.

I have hosted a few, one being a Guess that Anime contest, and several co-hosted events where I provided music.
I'm in the middle of scrounging up images for a second Guess that Anime contest.

Sorry folks for the shameless plug.... Millie, if you're looking for something new to do in a Tringo & Sleeze-free environment, we have a game show tonight called "Payment Podium" at the Shelter.... 7PM PST. Its a similar format to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but with audience participation. Admittedly, its become a popular-attended event, so if you're lag-sensitive, I would reccomend against it. But if you can come, we'd love to have you.... it is a lot of fun  Travis |
