Left this session IM's

Ok here is my little WTF SL rant.

Why is it that when i log in, and all is quiet for like a minute, and suddenly i get a BEEP BEEP. An IM, wow who could it be? Well half the time it's No one. The message reads:
SO AND SO HAS LEFT THIS SESSION. Why did i get this soooo important IM? Even when i wasn't even online when the group IM was sent.

Or this: I am a memeber of a few groups for a club, so im used to the occassional Can i get a tp IM to the group. No biggie, if im not there i close the IM. But wait, 10 mins later, someone else closes the IM, and I get another notice of SO AND SO HAS LEFT THIS SESSION. Why???? I closed the stupid window already!

i simply leave groups that spam im. my little bubble is far too delicate for a steady barrage of:

whammin ya be gwon up dem said
OMFG and hair stuff
bendin got yorn
said said

now now i do understand that this all means something to a lot of people and they're welcome to it. i don't complain about it; but i do leave the group.

maybe i should first spam the group with a leaving statement so that they can all reply how much they love me and need me and will just cry if i go. i'll think about it. not

I do leave groups that spam too much, i will even delet cc of such ppl that spam their cc list.

However my complaint is about IM's that shouldn't even be sent to me, The left in sessions stuff, when not online, or even after the window is closed.

If I leave the session. I do not need to be informed of those who left after me.
