Bug Report Response Time ?

I am just curious. What is the normal time it takes for a response to an in-world bug report?

I have made several bug reports and rarely even get a response anymore. The first one or two bug reports had automated responses fairly quickly but lately it seems they don't get any response at all. I have some bug reports from a month ago or more that have not been responded to.

Is there any "normal" timeframe for a response? Is there a procedure by which they decide which reports get responses at all? If my bug reports are not getting looked into or responded to, I have to wonder if it is worth my time to even file them.

If anyone have and insight into the way these reports are handled or prioritized I would love to hear the information.

Thanks

I had a response to a bug report that took 2 months.

I also filed another bug report, and the linden wanted the information from a seperate channel anyways (didn't bother reading the bug report, I guess?)

I don't have a lot of faith in bug reports, any more :)

i get an automated email when i file bugs and a message after each release which informs me that the bug report slate is being wiped due to the release and i should resubmit if the problem still exists.

i've never seen or heard of any other type of response. if i have a serious problem that needs to be fixed, i start iming and email lindens. they're busy, but they'll answer ims and emails as soon as they can. and they'll come fix things if they're repairable.

I've never received a response to the bug report claims I've filed. I hope they're in good hands. :) I, however, have received quick Linden response after posting some of my findings on these very forums concerning the same issues.

It's nice to get a response, and I am thankful. :)

Sometimes I've received emailed instructions, and requests for further info. I've also been IMed, and once a Linden (yay Dan!) showed up at my parcel to investigate -- I've seen Lindens inworld for a bug hunt a few times. When I've gotten more than the autoresponse, it's usually been within a business day or so, I think. In general, I find sending in yet-another report about a known bug might not lead to an individual response, but the Lindens will sprint to check out something new or major (a whole sim down, etc).
