Sharks are just confused and misunderstood. You just don't want to be around a confused shark. Dolphins are very smart creatures. I did a dolphin encounter last year, and it was freaky and amazing seeing them look right back at you. After that, I never doubted they were smart.

Shark is actually an Australian word - we invented it.
It's a cross between the words 'Shit' and 'Fuck'
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit Faaaaaaaaaaark.... SHAAAAARK
because when one of those bastards get you, you don't have a hell of a lot of time left, and you want that last word to be a total ball-tearer.
You just don't get the same effect from RAINBOW-TROUT!
Also for thought - when you say the word shark, you actually start looking like one... try it.. SHAAAAAAAAARK!
Siggy.

I nevered doubted the intelligence of dolphins, I know they are quite smart. It just amazed me that they used the same technique used to protect their young to protect another species. Intelligence is one thing, this just takes it to a whole different level for me.

They are truly amazing creatures. I wonder if they protect other species besides humans?

Just one more reason to love dolphins. Not only are they delicious grilled, but are super lifeguards for humans.
