L$6. Yikes. I see it more frequently that trial users are broke pretty early on, which can make the trial a drag for you, and those that get begged for money on your behalf.
Lizzie, I am not picking on you, but these are just some general tips to save money, especially if you are a trial user.
Trial users should not own land, no need to own it, waste of money. If you have land, release it and regain that cash flow. You can learn to build things in the new user build areas and Olive. Buy land modestly if you subscribe.
Clean up after yourself. If you buy a motorcycle that costs $200 to rez (or use in world) be sure to take it back to your inventory when your done with it. If you just leave objects laying around the world, you will lose that cash flow. You get refunded for objects you inventory or delete because they are no longer in world.
Be thifty and smart. If you want to buy a gun, shop around. You will have fun exploring and you might find a good deal (or avoid a bad deal). Explore your inventory for something you might want too, we get a decent default supply of items. True, the popgun might make you look like a newbie, but it is functional and will show you what you might expect from a similar item.
If you find yourself short of funds, go to contests and try to win some money. There is a chance you might, and if not, at least you met some new people and had some fun.
Im running late for work, that all for Loki Economics. Anyone else have any advice for those low on funds?
