Awhile ago things in SL got all shook up with changes and the drama increased (is that possible?  ) and I got disgusted....I didnt post a thread saying...Im Leaving!!  or any of that.....I just took a break......came back the week of my one year SL Bday and what I learned is this..... Alot of the changes made no differance.....its the people that make the game worth playing. There will always be changes..the Lindens will do what they want in the end....we can speak our minds.....or be nasty to people...as I have seen on these boards a number of times......but in the end....whether we are playing Tringo! or dancing or lagging at a friends new build.....its all about the people. I found that while I was gone some didnt notice.....some did and could have cared less...........BUT....I have made some true friends in this game also!!  They greeted me....missed me.....made me laugh right away.....thats what its all about for me. I may whine a little when they wipe out half my ratings  ...when the game lags so bad I cant type in chat  ......but....I do have some true friends here and they are great.......I dont think I will ever totally leave SL...whether the changes suck or not.....many of the people here make this game worth playing! So........Thank You to all my friends who make SL a good place even when the game changes in ways we dont expect.......you remain true! You rawkkkkk! |
