o yes, let them take away those objects sales, now i need to log everytime to see if someone is online, with the friends online i just looked and no need to go inworld if they were not online.

I found it very helpful as well, I would use it to see if friends where online and also my business partner. I really hope they bring it back soon!!

Friend Online Will Return

The Friend Online link on the SL website depends on the interface with the SL Database Server, which being replaced today. LL took the web link down yesterday to help lessen th load and in preparation for today's changeout.

Friends Online WILL be back. It is a great feature and really does lessen the load, since many people choose not to attemp a login if they don't see certain other people in world.

that seems easy enough. list the text as links to their session email queue. i'd be just like replying to someone who emailed you via inworld im.

I would like to see that feature and the ability to pay L$ to people when I'm offline. I once was stuck with no SL for 2 weeks due to isp problems and could only log on to check emails in which many were from auto-rent reminders notifying me that my rent was due at one of the many shops I rent. Luckily, none of the owners cleared my spaces at there malls but I did risk losing them just because I couldn't log on the game to pay. Hopefully they'll add features like that in the future...
