Black Sun Club and future map taggers chime in

While recently loggiging in, after the notable giant cannibus leaf event I have seen now that Black Sun club has prim tagged the map with what would seem a virtual map advertisement, although the sim was empty I was still fairly curious about the cause of this. Will this become a new form of advertisement in the future or is it just a passing Fad?

I take it all back if your building Black Sun described in Neals book to the T though as that would be cool.

Do a Places search for Black Sun Club, its actualy kinda not near the giant lettering at all, which confused me at first.

Its in one of the more southern snow sims than the giant signage.

I have no affiliation with the club, but did at one time build my own which I tried to make as close to the book as possible with a few differences (I had about 4 floors to make up for the lack of small size and not being able to build "several football feilds" in length), I can send you some pictures if you'd like, its no longer in world at this time, maybe in the future.

Large sinage and terraformage is cool. I'm still hoping for a giant smiley face across the grid, or "Eat At Joe's", Homeage to old Looney Toons

1) SL hand in one of the void sims
2) the ying-yang in Zermatt
3) the now-gone face/hand of Backstage

i'm sure there are/were/will be more.

And although an awesome idea, it can cost major $ to keep it going

LL has also done a little tagging. There is a yin-yang in the central area of the river in the snow sims, and there is a second life hand logo in the water of the void sims.

found it.. monti.. and its ugly.. nothing neat like the hand or the face.

We put that out a while back - the prims for that land are being used for my house to the south of it

no dex. i dont have a reason to be jelous it just wasnt what i expected.. the hand and face pic was wicked as hell so i had my hopes up expecting something like that.. all it is is big prims layed out and there not even laying flat. Terraform it into the land and it will be cool as hell.

give me real terraforming and I would -- too bad the Lindens dont think main grid users are as worth it. It was there long before the void sims existed.

no shit. i asked if it would ever be expected that we would be treated as equals.. the answer was something along the lines of maybe in a year or so. Hell we should just ask philip he promises everyone everything he just dont include a delivery date lol we can atleast pretend that we will actually get it that way.

lol catching up, ya the linden tagged land is obviously going to be different, the Black Sun is the only half sim ad i have seen, and likely the only ones stupid enough to waste that much land / money on it or maby its just the fact that there is so much land on the market one less sim dosent slow anyone down! but also the sim reffered to that has the club build from the concept in the snow crash book is HOODOO, the farthest reaches of the world only a mere 1200 away from the nearest telehub, check it out!
