Where were you able to find out it was a fake? It's ads and a lot of its links go to what appear to be real Christian orgs and businesses. Does snopes have anything on these guys or something?

I searched everywhere for a disclaimer stating it was a farce, and couldn't find one. Having read it tho, it HAS to be fake, because if its not, then these people need to be locked up, for their own protection.

Atheists are often very grumpy and bitter and will lash out at children or they may even try to trick you into neglecting God's Word.

Yes. I read the whole page. And other parts on the site Darwin. I've seen extreame fundamentalits say the same things and even worse things to their children and others. Standing right in front of me even when I once spent a little over a year delved deep deep into the extreame fundamental religion.

My experience is a story for another time, but I did not see anything on that page that sounded off base for those with this type of belief. That was why I was wondering where it was found out that the site was a spoof.

If they're not serious, their satire is advanced, given that they have a page devoted to attempting to remove Landover Baptist from the internet. That site, at www.landoverbaptist.org, is like a religious version of www.theonion.com, and almost calculated to offend (not that it takes much to offend some people).

Well, having gone to college in the part of the country that has more fundamentalist churches than anywhere else, that site is true.

Every wednesday, a baptist church congrigation would hang out on our campus near the student union building on our pretty liberal campus, singing hymns, telling us we were going to hell, and handing out Chick Comics.

For those of you who don't know Jack Chick, you do not know fear. these are totally real.

I was once offered $5000 to indecently expose myself to them.
