As some of you probably have known, and probably not a lot of others know, Second Life has been a pleasure experience for me to endure. However, recent activities have forced me to take note and make a leave of absense permanently.

Sure it's hard to take awhile to get used to not coming on Second Life, for it's quite a different community in itself. To tell you the truth, I was heartbroken about these major changes that were taking affect. It was all just too much for me to handle. Linden Labs provided an escape from the RL experiences, but these major changes forces RL to intrude on that fine line between a game and RL.

For the friends I'm leaving behind and for the love of my life, (fey brightwillow) I wish you godspeed.

bye Einsman,
I'll miss being your neighbor across in Clyde.

I do agree with a lot of what you said. I'm finding the new changes are making it not as much fun for me too.

Please reconsider, Einsman. Fey's back, and I'm sure she'd like to see you.

I completely understand Eins. I would be right on your coat tails if someone hadn't bought me a lifetime membership, thus making me feel obligated to stay. A lot of the fun is gone for me too.

I know I'm not the only one who thinks that leaving SL would be far less fun than staying in SL.

I've heard a lot about Einsmen's work and personality--all great things, wish I'd met him--but it makes me upset that people have to take "one last stab" at LL before walking away from the game with his/her arms crossed.

Without even seeing what would become of the game...

It's sort of like saying, "I don't like the future. So I quit life."

I hope that your absence is only temporary, Eins. Whatever paths you end up traveling, be well! It's been a true pleasure to know you. Thanks for making me laugh and for always being a friendly face. Hope I get to see you around again sometime.

Oh, and if you ever do get "proof" of your visitors, your ass better come back here and show me!! :D Safe travels my friend. You'll be missed.

I think Daemioth, it is because we've all heard the hype of how great 1.2 was going to be, and frankly, aside from the headaches about land and prims, it is not much different.
Land was at a premium before and it did seem like a few people owned lots of the land, but now, any land I see for sale that isn't public for sale(the few left), is priced way beyond what I can afford - and I mean L$ not US$. I have under $4000 L$ because of the recent reimbursements, but it won't last long. Even small parcels are priced $5000-$10000 L$. I want to be able to create things and display them, but it is hard to get a complete parcel in one sim without having to pay through the nose in addition to what we are paying Linden Labs for our subscriptions. It gets tiring worrying about these things and makes the game a chore and not fun at all.

I've been waiting to see what becomes of the game and if the current situations are what's its going to be like, I am not happy.
