Well, this was a message about clothiers and broken 1.0 clothing.
Thank's to those clothiers who have have replaced their broken items and/or removed them from the shelf.
And thanks to those clothiers who contacted me about this post and thanked me.

Wow Briana, you got some fangs there. However, I am not certain that the clothers should be held responsible to exchange all their clothing when a third party changes the AV's. I can understand the logic for them to take the "broken" clothing off the market, but hey, the clothing you already bought did not change, you did. To compare this with a real world analogy, should a store replace your clothes because you gain 25 lbs and no longer fit into them? Although I am not a clother, nor do I ever wear standard clothing on my lower half (I wear a prime), I would wager that there is a AV setting that would cause these clothing to fit again. (Or perhaps not). So yes, take clothing that do not work off the market, but I really don't think you can expect everyone to have the time to replace every article of clothing that is shorts/etc. because your shape has changed.
/edit - Also, consider it wear and tair. End result, I think those whom will replace the clothing to be going above and beyond, and should thumbs up to their extra customer servcie. However, I think the standard should not be set as such.

If anyone's not updated their stuff by now, they are more than likely not playing, and won't see this.
Or they are playing, but don't read the boards, and no one has mentioned it to them, so any sort of "public embarassment" will be useless. Why not just IM them instead of making it a big drama case?

Okay, first allow me to apologize by the fact I obviously offended you on a personal level. That was not my intention, but rather to discuss a mater that actually has very large significance to me, if perhaps exponded. But due to respect for you, I will expand upon it on a seperate thread.

I think you've alerted everyone who reads these boards to the quality control problem with certain pre-1.1 clothing. That is a good thing -- caveat emptor, everyone. You are angry that much of your pre-1.1 clothing is considered "useless." That is quite understandable -- you spent a lot of $ on them. So do your best to get the word out -- as any good consumer advocate would. You might be even more succssful, though, if you take your personal anger and tone it down a notch. I find that when one comes out guns blazing it can even put those who agree with you on the defensive, let alone the ones you are trying to convince -- and they may dig in even further. Unfortunately, the tone of your post is petulant, demanding, and uncompromising. Next time just try the facts and I think you'll find people will rally behind you -- especially if you're going to take up the mantle of community advocate ("stop abusing the community" "They don't blame the maker, they blame the system" .

Theres a few people who I know that have not updated their stuff since the 1.1 changes, and yes.. they are still playing, well.. some of them anyway, I won't name names but this really should have been fixed a while ago, either remove the items or fix them.
As for posting on the forums, why not... their here to post issues that might arise ingame aren't they?

First; this is not an attack - just an observation...
The only attacks I have seen in this thread has come from your posts, all of them in fact... Also - when you post in a public forum for SL players, Briana, dont you expect people to respond in any way they like?
...still just my observations, no attack.

...still just my observations, no attack. I expect the people with a direct interest in the issue to respond; not those who do not have a direct interest but simply wish to critique my rare lack of decorum. And since this has illicited replies from people who have no direct interest at all in this matter except to tell me how wrong my delivery of the message is, I am going to delete the content of my posts and leave the rest of you to discuss my poor delivery of an important message.

Perhaps, at this point, a Linden would like to assist and just delete this thread since it is kind of, well, missing anyways.

As a side note, we should not be able to edit a post after a certain amount of time - most message boards restrict editing to a few minutes after the post. I like Briana and generally support her, but I do not agree with removing a post, regardless of the response that it has gotten.
