Hello everyone, Robin mailed me some screenshots of our avatars' ancestor, the Primitar. This was one of the first experiments with humanoid skeletal animation, in pre-alpha development. I put up a smallish article and would love your contributions. Can anyone for the love of god tell Steller Sunshine to get in touch with me!? Go check it out: http://www.profnano.org/sl/viewer.aspx?page=AvatarHistoryhttp://www.profnano.org/sl/viewer.aspx?page=PrimitarDoes anyone still have some screenshots of the old primitive-based skirts? I am particularly interested in one that would illustrate how crappy they looked when we did the "belly laugh" animation. Feel free to send them to eggstasy@gmail.com if you dont want to upload them yourself. Any other historical material will be greatly appreciated

Haha, fantastic pictures. They kinda resemble crash test dummies... which I think is appropriate Thanks for sharing those, Robin.

From: Eggy Lippmann Does anyone still have some screenshots of the old primitive-based skirts? I am particularly interested in one that would illustrate how crappy they looked when we did the "belly laugh" animation. I still have outfits with these skirts. hehe I'm a packrat and have just about everything since I started a year ago. I"ll be happy to get in world and take some pics of me in these for you.

If you look closely, you can see the early UI in those pictures, as well as the early selection beams. God, were they crap or what? A striped cone?
