Since obviously they are not, I think I'm going to go write me one!
If you see a "thanx pete" object in the sky, please ignore. It's just my way of thanking the guy who paved the way for us..

The jury is still out on this one blaze. The Lindens have not expressed a final verdict as of yet, but I get a feeling they will arrive to alot more abuse reports on Monday. They don't always work as fast as we would like, but they are addressing it. The problem didnt spring up yesterday though, so it seems a case of the squeeky wheel. _____________________

Actually, after a report of objects that were scanning Tringo land months back, Linden said that this is perfectly legal. Land scanning is in no way a TOS violation. An object passing over your property is also legal.
Far as I can tell the only jury that is still out on this one is the Forums one. This has been going on for months. And, as that Linden said, the guy doing it is a "a good guy, and not doing anything malicious". So, feel free blaze! In fact I posted the same thing before reading this post. We can start a market and compete! Let's tell people exactly how they can use this information as well so it's not just for fun...everybody can profit! Hooray public info! Hooray TOS! Anybody cries about it, wave the TOS in their face, tell 'em to cry to a Linden, ban them from your land and put them on ignore. Can't beat 'em, join 'em. Hey, a ways back, I started a thread on this for the very same reason. Interestingly, the community didn't have a problem with it then. _____________________

here's my pseudo code (rough draft), let me know if you think there are any problems with this. this should contain everything.. should have a copy of itself called "Child" in its inventory.
<ok well maybe we should wait until Robin does her due dilligence before teaching everyone how to take down the grid..> _____________________
