I just came from Moritz, where my plot is at -- there were 13 people there, all building stuff and the Sim FPS was over 5900, regularly peaking at 6000+!!
What the heck? If I buy an island sim, can I get it on whatever kind of server is hosting Moritz!?!

some of the simes in hidden lakes were returning 9000 fps
on a good day larsen returns 7000. _____________________

I just cheked out Luna. It's got a LOT of nice builds by the Lindens for the shop stalls, and a lot of shops are still setup before the re-assignment tomorrow. It's still running at 6500+ with all those builds, and scripts, there.

if you look at the prim allotment on the winter build plots they get over 1000 prims (1600 some i think, allot anyway) for a 256 M2 plot!!!! something tells me that that sim is on the very best hardware that LL can get their hands on

Naw... They've just left a lot of the land "fallow" and are giving those prims to the small plots. Ice sculptures can requre a lot of detail. The prim limit mod value is 28, so 28 time the normal number of prims per plot size.
It's less a case of giving us more prims and more a case of them restricting where we can use them. Though, with all that extra land, it would have been nice if the parcels had some walking space left between them... _____________________
