I think it would be nice to see some deeper water. Most sims don't even get close to the 20m max depth possible. But how can we build underwater lands in the shallows?

How deep can you make the water on a private estate sim?

I saw a really nice private island that was basically mostly all water with an underwater ruins, etc. You can make it rather deep, the islands are fully modifyable landscape-wise I believe.

you can make water 100m deep. Come over to Krittannia to see what that looks like

I wish it was more, actually!

Only thing is, the sea that surrounds the sim is still at 20m, which looks kinda sucky. Thanks, Lindens!

....well every now and then I give in to a strange and peculiar fascination for swimming around in mermaid form exploring the underwater features of SL, (a very calming activity, I can recommend it) so I may well come by and dive the Krittania trench

The sims on the mainland in the far SE corner (forget the names) have water that is 80m deep. You can see them with really dark blue water on the big map.

*edit. Go check Star and Wall and SW of there, thats the deepest water I know of on the mainland.
