The site is both very factual and very humorous.
Special care was taken in developing the FAQ sections to be truthful and factual. This website makes no claims of elves baking cookies in hollow trees. _____________________

I will take your response for what it is worth.
I personally support a draft, I think we need one whether we are at 'war' or not. 2 years of mandatory service would do a great deal of good for the youth of our nation. I believe GW when he says there will be no draft however. I do not believed Kerry and I will state why. He has proposed to add 40,000 more troops to the military. Last poll I saw had the military at over 70% behind Bush. How will he maintain and all volunteer force and increase the size by those numbers when so many are not behind the idea of John Kerry as commander in chief ? Are all of the Yalies suddenly going to flock to the recruiter's offices ? I think not. pfft _____________________

Sorry but I aint joining to fight an unjust war. No ifs ands or buts about it. This administration needs more focus on whats really important: diplomacy. Instead of jumping to conclusions.
I personally will refuse to fight if given the letter to go to war. Sure, call me whatever you like, traitor, passivist or what not. I aint dying for someone's war monging. I can see if it were a serious issue (like the Cold War) I would fight because its in defense of our nation. True in game perhaps I act a little gun-ho, but that's just it, its a GAME not real life. The call to war pre-emptively is simply not the typical American way. There was terrorism after WW2, and both sides invoked it. I never seen a doctrine to where we need to strike pre-emptively in order to win. The key here is to defend the home front, our own soil. We don't need to be going overseas. For those of you who say 'Freedom isn't free' well, I got news for you. It was a given right. But that doesn't mean we have the right to change other nations for it. It's to their choosing. |

The most recent Bills in Congress to bring back the draft was introduced by TWO DEMOCRATS.
S. 89 and H.R. 163... introduced by Democrats to reinstate the draft. Let's just drop this stupid rumor once and for all, already? It's been debunked on so many levels, but no one wants to mention that it's DEMOCRATS trying to start the draft back up. Probably so Kerry can draft them and then accuse them of war crimes. _____________________

Neehai, I would like to know the "truth" behind this site that you claim it has. What do you mean Dan? I told you the information contained i the site is factual. (I'm not going to debate the word truth because that opens up a bunch of ambiguous crap.) It is factual. Have you found something in particular that you thought wasn't factual that is not documented? _____________________

If there's a draft they might even let in the homos. I hope they let us accesorize our uniforms. I mean, seriously, drab drab drab!
Never underestimate the power of a little color. Speaking of soldiers. Are Israeli soldiers not the hottest men on the planet? You better frisk me twice and a little rougher this time. _____________________

Kerry Calls for More Troops to Bolster U.S. Military
(Bloomberg) -- Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry called for increasing the U.S. military by 40,000 troops, probably for a decade, in order ``to match its new missions'' in the war on terror and homeland security. ``I make this simple pledge,'' Kerry, 60, said in remarks prepared for delivery to veterans and military families in Green Bay, Wisconsin. ``If I am president, I will fight for a constant standard of decency and respect for those who serve their country in our armed forces -- on active duty and as veterans.'' The added troops would help ``relieve over-extended'' National Guard and reservists in Iraq and Afghanistan, Kerry spokesman David Wade said. Half of the additional 40,000 troops would be used as military police and for civil affairs, tasks now mainly carried out by reservists; the other 20,000 would be combat troops. The U.S. now has about 138,000 troops in Iraq. Kerry's plan is one of four priorities for a new U.S. security policy he outlined yesterday in Seattle. His other three priorities are: to forge new international alliances, use diplomacy and economic leverage in addition to military might and reduce dependence on Middle Eastern oil. Wade said Kerry would pay for the added troops by making cuts elsewhere in the Pentagon budget. He gave no specifics. |
