I'll be amazed to see how many people view a post named "Skerplat!" anyway...

So, I'm sitting here in my residence hall; it's like 4:45AM and I'm working as the Night Desk Attendant. Pretty much I sign unruly drunks into the building. I don't get out until 7am, and I can't play Second Life because this is my boyfriend's mac laptop, buuut... I figured I'd try to get peoples' attention with this so that I'll have some sorta correspondence for the next two and a half hours. :)

How is everyone?

It's not so bad! I sit around, read, watch TV, play on the computer, talk to drunks who don't know their own name... (No, I'm serious.) The only problem is the pay. I get paid less in this job than any other job I've ever worked at in my entire life.

Anyone remember Kerplunk? That game was AWESOME! Hm... could Kerplunk be made in SL? Bwahaha..!

wasnt kerplunk the game with the sharpened elongated toothpicks that slid into a long tubular chamber filled with marbles? and by removing each sharpened little eye poker the game is thus played?

my fav game as a child was called mouse trap....never really played the game..just liked building the trap hehehe....

or is the Kerplunk your mentioning this one -----> Foodweb Kerplunk is a game about species relationships. Playing as a town councilmember in suburban California, you try to preserve the wildlife in a patch of native chaparral, against the pressures of town growth.http://www.cbc.yale.edu/courseware/ms/

Kerplunk--yes, the game with the long toothpicks and marbles. With some Physics and lots of prims, could this game be possible?

My shift's over obviously, so I'm gonna go to sleep. I'm an exhausted panda. G'night!

Daemioth,

Kerplunk would be quite possible, and sounds like an interesting idea.

Talk to me in game.

Main limitations would come from unexpected behavior of the physics system.

Hmm, a giant 'Mousetrap' game would be awesome, specially if we could get it to work...

Physical balls will go down tubes and such, I made a tube system once, and just threw physical balls down it for eternity... well... ok, like 15 minutes, but it was cool...

Oh, this is saying mouse trap could be done, sorry... *head smack*

hhehe, nope... good guess though :) It's from an old don martin strip in mad magazine. It's the sound a breast makes popping out of a bra ;) That guy always has the best sound effects!
