I need to get a script into my helmet thing, but I have no idea how, look in the screenshot(attachment) below then try to help please

Rez the helmet, then drag the script onto it, then wear it, you're good to go!

If you are trying to get a script into equipment from Darklife, AND you are not a moderator/creator of that game, forget it it ain't gonna happen. AND STOP TRYING TO CHEAT.

The script is a script FROM a darklife item, it was extracted. And for the purpose to be put in my other helmet. My friends have done this. No I am not trying to cheat. So don't give me your dumb assumptions and help. (post editied to remove offensive content)

to clarify what eggy meant:

You need to drag the object out of your inventory, (before you where it, just place it on the ground) then you can edit the object, go in to the contents tab, and in that folder you can put a script.

Unless of course the object is no modifible, (meaning the creator has not given new owners the permsion to change the object. In that case i believe you can't add a script to it.

Well, sorry for my imaturity, i was just very angry that someone would assume i was cheating because i had a darklife code, or aparently what he thought was one of my custom codes, and was trying to put it in a diffrent helmet, Changing nothing but the look.

It's not just immaturity; that is forgivable. What is not forgivable is the use of hate speech, which indicates that you are probably not the kind of person who will be welcome here. This is a tolerant community where people can exist in a relaxed environment, without having to guard against racial and sexist epithets.

If I were you (assuming you haven't already been banned) I would take a moment to reflect on what you want out of second life, and how you are going to fit in with the community here.

If I am not mistaken, you can no longer use Dark Life scripts in objects that are not made by the Dark Life team...

It is sad to see that we have lost the ability to transfer the equipment scripts from one item to another- I have a wonderful Staff I made with the "Staff of Pain" script in it as well as an invisible "Magic Hat" (so I dont mess the hair using the wind spell) and custom shield. But alas- if it helps to keep people from cheat so be it! Still a great idea to have Darklife in SL! makes it worth the $$-

Ok to get something clear. It's no problem if you put scripts from ARMOR into other objects because armor doesn't fit everyone. But I PREFER that you leave the swords/shield scripts where they are (they're not THAT ugly right?) but leave the scripts from the backpack where they are!!! for now it's not a big problem if you don't try to cheat that way.

The new version is now done but I need a good timing to implement it because it might take couple of hours and I want a few extra hours for any problems that might come up. So I'll pick a good time this week when I got like 5 hours of playtime

and in the new version you cannot remove scripts from the backpack (all scripts will disable and I can't reverse it).

And if you do find someway to remove scripts from the backpack in the new version and keep them working report to me how you did it please. If the next version is out and I see anyone with a custom backpack and he/she hasn't reported it to me I'll consider it cheating and will ban that player.
I really don't like being like that and if it were a single player game I wouldn't care so much about cheaters. But it's a multiplayer game and cheating ruins the game for other players who do not cheat so I will take action if I see anyone cheating.
