Great work Lindens, especially under an unfortunate collision of bad events.

Just to put some perspective on this. I've been playing SL since mid-September. All updates I'd seen had gone smoothly and all completed in advance of expectations. By contrast, I've seen other MMP worlds that are open 3 nights a week (If you are lucky) or online games run by zillion employee firms that just crash for no reason.

Also, a few hours after SL was back on line, my area (one of the 20 largest metropolitan regions in the US) had widespread power outages because of moderate winds. How long has Linden Lab been operating their technology? Two years or so. How long have we had electrical distribution? About 100 years. I'm impressed that SL is so cutting edge and so much more reliable than my electron supplier. And, given past conduct of Linden Lab learning from their mistakes, I doubt that yesterday's events will repeat, ever.

[Just had to say that because of all the negative threads I've seen about yesterday's outage. And because the Lindens put a candy corn in front of my door on halloween

While all the Lindens are doing a great job, I would like to single out Char. She recently asked me for a list of locations of trash objects on Linden owned land. The note card I gave her had 75 locations, many with multiple objects. Well, she is off to a running start. Many objects that have littered the landscape have already disapeared (just check the bazaar which was a major disaster area). So, hats off to SLs newest cleaning lady.

Yes, thanks, Lindens!

When I logged in after the upgrade last night, I was in Cordova. A bunch of Lindens were there and one shouted, "please grant us leniency!" or something like that. I said, "I forgive you!" Then I got scared and ran away.

Too intimidated to talk to a flock of Lindens.

Thanks for everything, Lindens.
