As the time of writing Ellen McArthur is only 114 miles from the finish line in Ushant in her single-handed round-the-world voyage, way ahead of the record held by Francis Joyon by a day and 6 hours.

She's one hell of a person and one hell of a sailor! She'll have been sailing for 72 days and covered over 27,300 miles by the time she's finished.

Simply REMARKABLE! I think it takes a very deep person both mentally and phyiscally strong to even plan to take on such a thing.
