I watched a brilliant film last night by Wolfgang Becker titled Good Bye Lenin!

Having spent Christmas 1990 in Berlin I was very excited to see this film and was not disappointed. This is truly a must see film kids.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0301357.

Also for a nasty little forum debate on Communism check this link out:

Enjoy. :D

Brilliant film, and incredible soundtrack (same composer who did the music for Amelie).

Good look at life in the favelas. But like many good foreign films, unless you live in a larger city with an art-house, you'll never get to see them in the big screen.

Did you ever see a movie called "Pixote" (Pixote: A Lei do Mais Fraco)? Its a 1981 film by Hector Babenco (great director!) which I consider to be even better than City of God.

Check it out if you have a chance.
