I had started my Tribal Drum Circle event tonite and was about 20 minutes into it. Was thrilled to see Andrew Linden drop in ! Then he informed us the sim was going down for maintenance and would take about 10 minutes. Now true enough this interrupted my event and possibly altered attendance but ... I was thankful that he was gracious enough to actually come by in AV appearance to let us know instead of the dreaded gray screen. Thanks Andrew !

That is indeed most gracious that Andrew made a personal appearance to forewarn of events to come! I get a big smile out of hearing stuff like this. There's a strange connection I feel when I meet someone inworld "in person" as opposed to IM or "gray screens". Hehe. Thanks for sharing, Lecktor. Big up!

Its very nice of them to do this, even announcement dialogs to me are nice, advanace warning of things like this when possible is always nice to have.
I haven't seen Andrew in world much (to my recolection), does he look like his forum avatar?

From: Eggy Lippmann Yes. He is a chubby bald guy in SL. But much different IRL. So that would explain the keyword "Kojak" constantly popping up in my head whenever I see his forum av...

From: Willow Zander Does he have a lollipop? That's a rather personal question, Willow. - Ace

His avatar reminds me of the villian from Evil Genius.

You're welcome Lecktor. You were luckier than some. So sooner had I chased everyone out of the sim but some new residents started leaking in from various sides. Unfortunately I was running late for a RL event so I had to bring the sim down with two or three people logged in -- sorry about that whoever you were.

Speaking of Tribal Drums, I noticed there's a cute little mini-tribal drums setup in Transylvania, the Vampire Empire. I hadn't explored that part of the sim before and was pleasantly surprised to discover a lot of my fave drums there, set up by Obscuro apparently.
