Hi, Whenever I log in to SL, I noticed that it would always be a screenshot of the place and the action that I last did. And I was just wondering, if there is a specific location on the computer were you could retrieve this image. I assume that it is a .bmp picture. I tried to locate it on the c:\program files\secondlife but it isnt there. It isnt in the subfolders either. Is there an actual picture, of am I just chasing my own tail? Thanks heaps in advance

There sure is, rinaz... check out a directory like: C:\Documents and Settings\COMPUTERNAME\Application Data\SecondLife\FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME and you should see the .BMPs in there. Cheers!

Bumping this to ask: how is the screenshot chosen? There have been times when my screenshot has stayed the same over several logins even though I've moved off to doing other things. Other times, my screenshot reflects my activity immediately prior to disconnecting before.

If you disconnect correctly by closing SL it saves a screenshot, you you loose connection any other way then your screenshot remains as before...
When I first read the thread title I thought Log? in the screenshot? Location of what log? I've been here too long.....

I've also noticed if I'm set to log in at my Home location, the screenshot will be what was on the screen when I set my home position. If I'm set to log in from last location, it will be what I last saw when I logged out.

Sidenote: The Lindens should have 2 logout options. One is the standard logout we have today. The other should be called Relogging and it expands into a submenu that lists several common logout reasons like: Client to 'choppy', Attachments Not Displaying, TP'd to thin air (ie nothing loads) and Other (which gives us a short line to type something). This could help them determine why people are loggin in and out all the time and putting a strain on their login servers.
