What does makin land into group owned do? umm i prolly have like 20 more questins to go with this but i need a lil info i run a club

Two main things...
1) Group rights on the land. All members of the group can build on the land and not have their objects auto-returned. Officers can edit land even when the Edit Land option is off - nice feature to keep griefers from messing with you but you still can terraform.
2) Officers can donate their land allocation to the group and then get a 10% bonus on the allocation. Nice way to stretch the value of your dollar.
There are some potential risks in owning land as a group. If your fellow officers aren't totally trustworthy, they could "steal" your investment in the land, as any officer can unilaterally sell off some or all of the group land.
Probably more to say. There's probably an expert around here somewhere...

well, i know it let's other officers in the group change the land properties, return objects, change the music, ban people and such. and it lets people in the group contribute from their land allowance so you don't have to use all yours for the land. prolly some other stuff too.
