Is it just me, or is the layout of the Winter Expo a bit unfriendly to the casual viewer?
With the Burning Land sims there were clear walking/flying paths around everything that gave a clear indication of the best way to orient your display. The Winter Expo is just a giant grid of squares with no clear overall design.

I'd like to see some collaborative theme develop. If anyone next to me wants to arrange for something like that, send me an IM. -Adam

Since the (way cool) plots are already developing, maybe we can brainstorm a workaround. A boardwalk? Cobblestones ? MiniTeleporters? (Nothing brilliant here- the caffiene hasn't kicked in yet) Or should we let it develop as is?

yeah...half way thru building mine a big plywood block appeared. I am feeling so claustorphobic.

Hey guys - this was my bad, and I'm really sorry. You should have seen the amazingly coherent layouts I schemed and re-schemed while Kona & Colin poked fun at me about what it should look like! But sadly, my efforts (and the subsequent ribbings) were in vain. Deadline hit and I was sick, so hurried through putting things up. My apologies for the disappointment. I promise in the future to take the extra time like I have in the past to make at least a bit of a pathway where allowable. I'm encouraged by the fact that you want to make your own however, and I'm all for the idea! With so many prims at our disposal it would be great. I'm very excited about all the wonderful builds I have seen thus far, and by all means, be sure to bring your pent-up frustrations to the snowball fight on Tuesday. I'll be there with bells on.

A raised walk might do it, maybe about three meters off the ground. Better angles. I'd build one on mine.
