I am so mad.

the rest of you probaly knew about some kind of new rule the lindens did so that if you where not there in Immaculate that all of your stuff got taken away and your land got taken away

and I must be the only person not to have gotten the news about it becuase my whole life is gone they took every thing and I did not even get my money back from my build or land or any of my stuff in side my build.

I worked so hard holding onto my land for so long because it really meant something important to me .

It is ( sorry was ) the last location of a true Noise Tank Build and I held it and made a gallery there of the Noise Tanks.

and Now I am a Nomad a Wanderer a Man with No Land.

I can't start over somewhere else Mainely because being in another location will make it meaningless

and I am afraid to start somewhere else because the Lindens will just change the rules again and I will lose everything again.

SO Grump Grump Grump I am so mad and Depressed about the way the Lindens have set me ( a Beta tester ) ( not a 10 $ Member but a full 159.00$ of real life money not Linden $ ) Life Member

Did you remember to confirm your land? The message about confirming land has been around for almost two months now... sorry dude.

never heard about it

the only thing I heard about is a land rush in one peticular sim up at the top of the map or world however you want to think of it, and since I already had enough land in Immaculate I did not bother to go up there to the other end of the world for more land that I did not need.

Not to be rude, but how? It was announced before 1.2 was released a couple months ago, it has been posted numerous times in numerous threads and announcements on the forum, it has been in the login message on multiple occasions, there were many, many roundtable discussions in game (and announced) on the matter, there were warning messages the entire week prior to the 26th indicating that your land needed to be confirmed or it would disappear, etc. etc.

I know these things are easily missed sometimes, but there was definately ample warning in this particular case.

Still sorry to hear you lost your stuff though.

the last roundtable I went to was by bhodi about how those of us that have been here awhile need to stick to gether and maybe join into groups to keep things the way we like it.

I see that did not work.

as far as the meesages in the forum i do not come in too often.

and in world I just never heard anything about the fact that I had to do something special to save my land and stuff.

So from now on Second Life is Just a Fancy Chat room.

You'll find somewhere else, in time... there are a bunch of new sims being brought into action to negate the massive land starvation we're going through right now

I'd have to agree though... I don't intend to be rude either, but you must have had your head really deep in the sand to miss the numerous in-game announcements, patch messages, login warnings, conversaions etc etc etc for the months that this has been planned!

At least you'll now know to read things about SL once in a while even if it's only the login messages... and to make inventory backups of your builds wherever possible... but I do sympathise with your situation

My God, Rick, but were were told again and again to come to this website and confirm our land in our accounts. The Lindens were pretty much nagging us so that nobody would have it happen. I'm awfully sorry you came in world like that to find everything gone. I'm not sure what I'd do if it happened to me.

Hey, the "sticking together and forming communities" thing is working, but it takes time!

It was a shock to Me.
I have to share My computer and Sunday is the day that I usually get on Second Life, So.
I came in Sunday Morning and everything was not there.
At first I thought it was not resing in so I moved toward ny land and it was not ressing in still and then I relized the Noise Tank Gallery was gone and I checked my land and found that I did not own it any more some group called Vampire Empire owns it now so I tryed to find a Linden to find out what happened. and I guess it must have been to early for them to be around, So I checked My list of people I know and found someone I think is a good friend and told them what happened and they ecplained to Me what really happened,
Then I felt worse because it was because I did not do domething So I gor depressed and used My animation control and died.
Then My friend suggested I come over to Lime and Plum ( a bunch of people were having sales in tents there.
SO I went over to it still Dead and looked at everything .
Then there was a treasure hunt and I came alive and changed clothes and joined in and found three hersheys kisses $100.oo L$ each and a Heart worth 50 L$ and then on top of that I ended up being the grand winner and won a Jet Ski.

I am better now. still depressed about it and mad at myself for missing the news about it. But I will live.

But I will live as a NOMAD. A Man without a place to call home.

You might want to check that you email is correct in the SL client and on the billing page and on the forums and whatever other mystical place they keep it. Linden Lab sends out email newsletters every now and then, including some about the land issue I believe. Also make sure that (assuming your email address is correct) your spam filter isn't blocking out linden mail.
