Hi,

I was looking to get a plot at the Boardman Open Air Market but all the empty plots are owned by Nova Linden and aren't for sale. Does anybody know what I have to do to get one of these plots? I have the money and the land alloc available and I don't own any other land in Boardman.

Actually, if people know of other good places for sellers, I'd be interested in hearing about those as well, doesn't have to be Boardman, that's just the only one I've seen so far.

i looked at that too. but it's so ugly. plus there's a stall in the middle of the whole thing that keeps an av from walking straight through from one aisle to the next.

hopefully, it'll either be tastefull redesigned or taken down all together. i hate for that to be in the front yard of new players.

It is ugly, I've got to agree with you there. The texture chosen for the walls makes it look like a waste yard or something :)

The exapanded open air market plots will be available to buy soon. Each resident is only allow one market plot in Boardman and one in Brown.

they're larger stalls now so the limit's a bit higher. i noticed that they took the stall out of the middle in boardman so you can walk through the entire display now without having to go around.

i also noticed that people are already subdividing the stalls which begs the quesiton "why did people complain about the prims limits in the first place?"

The new plots are 8 x 12 meters (6 blocks) so they should support 19 prims when you factor in the prims that make up the walls.

The appearance of sub-dividing may be due to the fact that we've expanded the new areas around the pre-existing owners. We've added five squares around the old stalls and set that land for sale to the person who owns the one square.

Sorry, am I reading that right? 19 prims? for a store? seriously? well that's 3 or 4 simple items that can be shown...erm...am i missing something here or is that really quite useless? Sorry but I find that really pretty useless to be honest.

And that's ignoring the fact that it looks like a shanty town because of the design. Sorry if this post is obtuse but that really seems to be a remarkably small prim limit for what's intended to be a store area.
