Here's a neat idea:
- create a small transparent thing and attach it to your skull - place it just in front of your face
Now you can use llSetText and you will see the text from mouselook!
Combine several prims together to have multiple text with different colors!!!

I tried that already...mouselook wont show you anything attached to you body. It s unfortunate.
If it could be done, it would make for some interesting possibilities for people who are engaged in some embedded game, like darklife or racing game, etc.

It seems that text displayed using llSetText() does show up, however.

ok, I'm a noob, so I should have read the original post more carefully, he did say llSetText.
