Well, my much maligned piece-o-crap computer has taken another turn for the worse. I will not be in world often at all until either the magic computer gnomes come and fix it (the rent a geek hasn't been able to do so) or that big old holiday bonus check comes in and I finally get to buy my custom-built box-o-happiness!
So, I apologize for anyone I'm leaving hanging, but I had to drive to work just to post this!

LOL. HE was.. but I discovered that by reinstalling Windows every morning, I can still get on - for a while. Oh my life is so pathetic!

aslong as youve gotaccess to the net youe got access to free tech help.
i use to be somewhat cluelss in computers but just by reading what people post over at wwIIol OT ive become atleast somewhat knowledgable.
have you tried asking around here to see if anyone could help out?
most problems are a rather simple fix once you figure it out.
what exactly are the problems you're having?
