Everyone in SoCal ok from the fires? The flames are still going strong

I'm in NorCal, but I have family and friends in SoCal... so far, they're ok, but I feel for those who have been affected by the fires...

I'm adding my good wishes to everyone in SoCal to this thread... I hope everyone is OK too. )8

Same here. I'm in Nor Cal but also have family & friends in the southland. Only one so far has had to develop an evacuation plan. So far everyone is okay. We're thinking about you guys and hoping you stay safe.

Yes the simi valley fire is a blazin out my front windows under voulanteer evac atm all packed only thing i found important in house is my babies pics! Funny when u look around a house to see what is important to u 62 inch tv? bedroom set that i love?? china? god knows didn't even look in kitchen lol.. it's such simple things PICS!! memories!

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts If my power goes or we gotta book well c ya when i can ..hmmmm how long to disconnect puter? Hotels got hookups right??

I am in Orange County the only county in Southern California that has no wildfire. But we have a light dusting of ash, and the sun is obscured by a smoke haze.

First I would like to say that I hope everyone in california in the path of or anywhere near the fires is safe, has full coverage for fire and is doing well.

That said.

Remeber if you see a little blue helicopter flying around, with an unkempt idiot in a Tshirt hanging out the door with a camera, don't forget to wave... Got the day at the shop today, but tomorrow I'm back out in it.

Sounds like it would be a pretty interesting job, once I got over the being hung precariously over a big black flaming pit part

I applied to volunteer down there as a State representative at a disaster recovery center... I hope I get chosen! I really want to help out.
