I had to install some software today on all the data entry computers at work. As I went from cubicle to cubicle, I was stunned to see a common thread amongst these workers: pictures of their toddlers tacked up, and all the kids dressed like furries. I saw a kid dressed as a skunk, a rabbit, a cat, a dog, and a mouse.
My question is, is this a national thing, to dress your kid up like an animal and have it's picture taken, or is it a local phenomenon, as I live in a wallowing pit of the undereducated?
Thanks for any input.

I have co-workers that have pictures of their fur-children (cats, dogs & 1 weasel), wearing human clothes. Just as disconcerting.

Babies are terrifying. Babies in fursuits are even more terrifying.

parents do it for halloween because their kids look cute. I always liked playing at being animals and creatures when I was little. All about growing up and experiencing the world around you. though now, I still hope to one day become a Balrog when I grow up. The way they visualized in the the LOTR movies was so much more than I imagined from the books.
