Thank you for the link, MrsJakal. I totally agree with you in that the truth has to come from those who are doing the fighting, not civilians manipulating the news to present their political point of view.

Here is a non-partisan site run by retired Colonel David H. Hackworth. This site has been up for years and it is all about the well-being of the American soldier. Col. Hackworth is a highly decorated Vietnam veteran and has devoted decades to aide and say what has to be said in support of American troops, particularly enlisted men.

As the previously mentioned site, you can also read many letters send to Col. Hackworth from front line troops telling it like it is, untainted by the media or civilians using soldiers in pursuit of their own political agenda.
