Patience of a saint!

For months (literally!) I've been working on a project for a client and friend. We're now nearly complete, save for one window, and I wanted to say "Thank You" for having such patience during this project.

Between RL limiting my time IW and SL creative blocks and emergencies, this project went on much, much longer than I anticipated. Never one to complain, the homeowner never was upset and always wanted me to relax, take my time, and enjoy building the home.

So, Annie Butler... thank you for having the patience of a saint! :)

Annie's home is situated on the south shore of Stanford overlooking the ocean. The home sits on a camelback of the Stanford Mountain (not sure if that's the real name). I spent days studying the land before laying the first prim to ensure that I took in all of Annie's requests: lots of windows and incredible views, all while maintaining some privacy.

Good projects/builds are a result of excellent workings between the builder and the client. Following are the results of 'our' work:

I hope you don't mind me posting pics of your home Annie! ;)

I ran across that build when I was poking around Stanford last August and mentioned how impressed I was with it in these forums at that time. That thread is now long gone, but I'm very glad the fantastic house is still there!

To the creator and owner I say "BRAVO!"

I saw the house the day after you told me about it Juro, and hadn't occasion to say you how much I like it. It's one of mine preferred building in all over SL.

I don't know why but I somehow got the impression this build was finished when I visited it some weeks ago. Masterbuilder Juro and Annie have such a great thing going on here. If there's something I could say, it's that this house looks sturdy. Like the 3rd house featured in that Three Little Pigs tale. It's good that in the long term, that things worked out, and now you have this. Hey, isn't that how the pyramids were made? ;)

Ditto. I hope Annie doesn't mind having strangers in her place, because I've been hanging out in her FLW livingroom alot. Really nice work... right down to the arts and crafts furniture and lighting.

Glad you all enjoy the build... hang out a bit and give Annie some dwell! ;)

I'm not an architect IRL, but I did study architecture in school. Hmm.. maybe I should change careers. :)
